Scissor & Vertical Lift

EWPAA Yellow Card

Loadwise Australia is accredited through the EWPA (Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia Inc.) to deliver a formally structured (Non - accredited) training course delivered by an EWPA accredited assessor.

The Yellow card confirms that the holder of the ticket has been trained in the safe use of the scissor and vertical lifts that do not require a High Risk Work Licence.

Note: A separate accredited ‘above 11mt’ boom type EWP HRWL course is conducted by Loadwise Australia. Enquire for further details if required. Training delivery combines face-to-face Trainer led theory classes and practical sessions.

There are no unit pre-requisites for the Scissor & Vertical Lift (EWPA Yellow Card) course.

To achieve competency in the Scissor & Vertical Lift (EWPA Yellow Card) course Learners will also require the ability to read; correctly interpret signage; speak clearly and unambiguously in English; and to explain, describe and verify sometimes complex needs and issues. Writing is required to the level of completing workplace forms as is an understanding of basic mathematics and calculations.

Pre-enrolment skills checks are used by Loadwise Australia if doubt arises for students that may have language, literacy and numeracy issues.
