Loadwise Australia conducts thorough inspections of harnesses and safety equipment in accordance with AS/NZ 1891.4:2009. Our inspections are vital for ensuring the safety of personnel in various industries, particularly in high-risk environments.

Inspection Protocols

Frequency of Inspections: 6 monthly for harnesses, lanyards, fall arrest devices, ropes and slings.

Harsh Environments: For equipment used in wet, dusty, abrasive, or corrosive conditions, inspections are performed at double the frequency.

Personal Equipment

Daily inspections by a qualified height safety operator are required before and after use.

Loadwise provides professional inspection services across all the equipment types listed above. Items are thoroughly assessed for wear, damage, and operational safety to ensure compliance and worker protection.

Documentation and Certification

Each inspected item will be tagged and accompanied by an inspection certificate. Equipment failing inspection will be quarantined and marked as inoperable. Test tags indicate the next scheduled inspection date.

Logistics

Equipment must be shipped or delivered to Loadwise Australia in Canberra. Inspections will normally be completed within 24 hours of equipment receipt.
